Ah, DeGeneres hosting Idol Gives Back. Guess it's guaranteed to not be funny. Would have preferred Vance. Look! It's The Office star Rashida Jones' dad helping the Idol'ers. Too bad they couldn't get Rashida aka Karen. Will, from Will & Grace fame urges viewers to coif up some cash. Hey, it's been awhile since Will's been in primetime. Ditto for Ross from Friends. Dr. Phil had some dental work - I'm guessing caps. Ugh, when are they going to get to the good musical acts (we're at Rascal Flatts right now)? Um, I'd like to take back that crack I made about DeGenerous.

Well, I didn't see any Borat, but we did get a lot of people donating their time and efforts for noble causes. Capped off by Bono putting things in perspective and giving the Idol'ers a pep talk. Wow, Bono. Anyway, Seacrest explained on a charity night no one gets voted off. That would have been nice to know in advance, but we'll give Idol a free pass tonight.
