Ah, the age old Idol quandary: how to stretch 5 minutes of actual relevance into an hour long show. The answer: rehash, rehash, rehash.

But first... Fantasia. Ms. Flinstone comes out sporting a curious hue of red hair. She seems to have taken her shrieking and spastic gyrations up a notch. Seacrest asks what's up in Fantasia land. She mentions working on a new album. As she walks off the stage, LRK says, "I think she's on drugs."

Now the rehashing! Each Idolette's trip back to their hometown greater metro area is wrapped up in a nice little package. They all have the times of their lives. They all cry.

Finally, Seacrest breaks the news we already know - Syesha is out. It's an all Davids finale next week.
