We really can't be too surprised by last night's results. Although, it looks like we underestimated the popularity of both Sundance and Antonella...at least for this week. We also got an Idol homecoming from Fantasia [mute]. Pool-wise, there is only one leader of the pack , and that pole position belongs to the formidable Allison. Looks like she is determined to keep her promise of bettering Sean!

[Update: Oops, looks like I confused Phil for Paul on Allison's picks. The score and standings are corrected. Allison is still in first, though, because we go by the alphabet in case of a tie.]

Apologies for the late-ish post, but I had to watch Lost after the AI program.

The 24 guys and gals have done their thing...for better or for worse. I can only really comment on the ladies, since I missed the guys night due to work (blessing or a curse?). Although I do like Beatbox Blake, Chris Richardson and Punjabi MC. And I think Phil Stacey is pretty creepy.

The women repped pretty decently. We'll have to see what "America" thinks. I think I agree with Randy that the finals should be 8 and 4 instead of 6 and 6. No doubt Mateen Cleaves, Mo Pete and Charlie Bell were proud of their fellow Flintstone, but I don't think Jennifer Hudson has anything to seriously worry about.
