Next, Idol treats us to a good ten minutes of filler, followed by a stationary Pink, whose performance doesn't urge anyone to buy her album. Should've just had Glockson perform. Or bring Akon back. How dare the Ford promo play Sanjaya's song and not feature the man himself? We learn that Jordin and Doolittle are safe. It's down to Beatbox Blake and LaKisha. Who says big girls don't cry? LaKisha is shown the door.

Oh, sorry. This isn't the funny SNL sketch starring Jimmy Fallon and ol' JT? It's actually Barry Gibb guesting on American Idol. Oh.

Throught the first round, none of the Idolettes were that impressive with the Bee Gees work (except Jordin - who was alright). Jeez, Idol is really cutting it close on time. The second round of songs were improved (except for possibly Blake) but weren't really that much better. At least they got everyone in. What an anti-climactic show. A letdown.
