Hey Mr. Castro, Play a Song for Me
Much anticipation in the K household tonight for Maroon 5 on Idol. But first... another lame group performance.
Adam A. is brought out and Seacrest painfully makes the small talk before mercifully sending him to safety. Man, Adam A. is the death with his monotone, mumbling, talking-in-circles blathering. Cookie is also safe - as if he had any doubt.
Comparing the final 4 bland, yawn-inducing Idolettes to The Beatles? Really? Pssshaw.
I know I keep harping each Ford promo is progressively worse than the one prior, but after this week's "Ring of Fire"/Mustang-fighter abomination?
Maroon 5 hits the stage and has a fan... until the lead singer offers the Idolettes some advice. I found it humorous, but LRK found him weird. The M5 buzz diminishes in the K house. I'm still hoping there's enough so I can catch Counting Crows when they and M5 visit Hershey in August.
Bob Ice needs a witness!
Mercado: safe. Castro: not safe (3 points). Clearly, he shot the Tambourine Man.
