Yamin? I guess we'll get to see his (fairly) new grill. Do you think he ever regrets putting off Idol for one year? I think he possibly could have waxed any of the three remaining Idolettes. Obviously, with 55 minutes to fill to get to the 5 people really only care about, we get a lot of filler in tonight's show. More footage from the Idolette's collective trips home. Then Yamin hits the stage with his pearly whites. Is Melinda safe? Not yet. Then Maroon 5 comes out and performs their song that Blake probably performed better last night. Finally, the final 5 minutes. Jordin steps forward - she's in the final 2! Phillippe is very pleased. Blake or Melinda? Blake mumbles something incoherent for the most part. Doolittle steps forward - she's going home! I was right, and being right never felt so good!

Results Show #13

We have all the makings of a very bloated Idol show tonight. Three performances each, three phone numbers, visits to each Idolettes hometown and who knows what else the Idol producers will think of. Typical of Randy to namedrop someone he's previously worked with. How is it possible that Melinda looks like she has a negative neck? Am I the only one who thinks beatboxy Blake has a rather limited singing voice? Eh, all the Idolettes performed pretty well, but what did you expect? Should be an interesting, and equally bloated, results show tomorrow.
