What really sets Buble apart from the other gimmicky crooner Idol contestants of years past? Dude was anything but special. But he'll get props for the Antonella Barba reset. Nicely played, Buble! We saw Sanjaya in the middle of the pack - how much do you wanna bet he received more votes than C-Rich? We also saw bottom 3 vets - Phil and Haley Scarnato! - make a reappearance and both skirt back to safety. The Pool rejoices in another week of Haley Scarnato! and her exquisite pins. Yay! Anyway, this is going to be cut short, because the Pool wants to watch Slither on Cinemax tonight at 10:00. Office fanatics: Jenna Fischer is in it (and a new Office runs tomorrow at 8:00 - supersized [thanks, Flood]).

Another ho-hum Idol tonight. A number of contestants performed solidly, but none of them really knocked it out of the park. And I must admit, I skipped LaKeisha's performance, so maybe she really belted it out. But I doubt it. Adding to the drabbery was Idol mentoring vet and dinosaur, Tony Bennett. Tony may be paleozoic, but he didn't neglect to reference the victims of 9/11, the troops and come off as somewhat amusing with his slightly off-kilter quips. Everybody Hates Sanjaya was at it again, seeming to reset Saturday Night Fever in dress and demeanor. Haley Scarnato! (yes, I am going to wear that out for the duration), did anyone see her on the cover of People (with the other Idol'ers)?
